National Junior Squad & Rising Stars Set For Coaching At Dreamland This Weekend

Egypt’s National Junior Squad will gather at Dreamland Golf Resort this weekend for another round of coaching with Anne Le Coniat, National Coach. Four of the squad recently returned from South Africa where they represented Egypt in the 2010 African Junior Golf Challenge, finishing in 6th position. The junior squad will be made up of the following 9 players:

• Mina Farid (Alexandria)

• Dina Abou El Ela (Alexandria)

• Hassan Fayed (Alexandria)

• Maged Abdel Taweb (Dreamland)

• Hussein Mafouz (Gezira)

• Omar Mafouz (Gezira)

• Sherif Rizk (Gezira)

• Hassan Said (Katameya)

• Saphir Gohar (Katameya)

Coaching is from 10am until 5:30pm on both days

The EGF is also delighted to announce that a second group of talented young juniors have also been invited to attend a day’s coaching with Golf Development Officer, Richard Phillips. Phillips said “I am really looking forward to working with this group, they have all shown that they have a talent for the game and these juniors will make up the junior squad in the years to come.”

The 11 youngsters who will spend Saturday working with Richard on all aspects of their games are:
