6 National Juniors head to Scotland for series of Junior Open tournaments and visit the 150th British Open at St Andrews 14th June 2010
6 lucky junior golfers will head to the East coast of Scotland next month with EGF’s Gerard Bent is a great 8 day schedule that will see them not only compete in 3 Junior Open tournaments but also spend 2 days at the British Open in St Andrews. The boys will play a practice round at each of the venues that they will play the tournaments at with all three course being highly regarded British Open qualifying courses. They will compete in 3 separate junior Opens , at North Berwick Golf Club, Monkten Hall Golf Club and Dunbar Golf Club. Two days will be spent at the British Open watching the top players compete in the biggest event in world golf. Visits have also been arranged to the British Golf Museum where the boys will see the history of the Open Championship as well as the game of golf itself. “I look forward to travelling with the boys to Scotland, I know they will really enjoy the course we are playing. Two of them are true old fashioned seaside links courses that will be truly unique experience. With 2 days at the 150th Open at the home of golf arranged with our trip, I am sure that it will be memorable week for them” commented Bent. The travelling party will be;
