EGF’s Highly Successful ‘Try Golf for Free’ to Continue with Summer Dates Confirmed

Since its launch at the beginning of the year the EGF’s Grass Roots initiative has proved to be a great success. The initiative, comprising of a number of  ‘Try Golf for Free’ promotions followed by a series of 3 structured lesson programs, has seen a significant number of people introduced to golf with many taking up the sport.

To date an impressive total of 279 people have so far taken part in ‘Try Golf for Free’ classes at 7 different clubs across Egypt. To continue the momentum and to take advantage of the summer holiday period further classes will take place on 4 weekends in July at clubs located in popular holiday locations. The North Coast resort of Porto Marina will host ‘Try Golf for Free’ classes on the weekend of 2nd and 3rd July followed by Alexandria Sporting Club and Stella Di Mare (Ain Sokhna) on the 9th and 10th July.  Stella Di Mare will also offer additional classes on 16th and 17th July and all clubs will provide a structured series of lesson programs at special promotional prices for those who wish to learn the game during the summer.
