Record entry expected for Closed Championship in Alexandria on June 11th and 12th. Invites to Egyptian Open attracting strong entry 1st June 2010
With over 35 entries and still 10 days to go the Closed Championship is sure to feature a record entry of participants.
Without doubt the opportunity for a invitation to the Egyptian Open is a strong draw. 25 Professionals are expected to compete for a record prize find of LE15,000 for the title along with over 30 Amateur players. The top 2 players will receive awards and for the first time a additional junior section of the event will be awarded prizes. Entries will be accepted from junior players up to handicap 14 and will compete for a dedicated junior net and gross prize.
