Final EGF Order of Merit placing s published, top 12 players finalized for Challenge Match to take on the Professional Team. 6th June 2010
Following the Orange Lakes Men’s Open, the final placing have been decided with the top 12 players qualifying for the 2010 Challenge Match Amateur team to take on the Professionals on June 18th and 19th. The top 12 players qualify by right for the team with the Captain having 4 picks. The Challenge Match sees 8 four ball matches on the first day and 16 points available on the second. The Captain chooses his pairings and singles order. This year for the first time, the event will see a live Presidents Cup style draw with the Captains choosing their pairings and singles order live, with some impact on which players will play each other.
