'2009 Egyptian Open Champion, Steven Tiley , to compete in
Inaugural Stella Di Mare International Pro-Am'

'Steven Tiley takes time off in between the Asian Tour and European Challenge Tour to compete in the first Stella Di Mare International Pro-Am. The talented Englishman, who defeated Ryder Cup Captain Colin Montgomerie and other strong players from the Challenge Tour in last year’s Egyptian Open, is excited a the prospect of a return to Egypt.

 'I am delighted to have this opportunity to return to Egypt, i enjoyed my time there very much, and I'm looking forward to compete again in Egypt as their Open Champion. It is exciting to see also another part of Egypt, witnessing Cairo and the pyramids courtesy of the Egyptian Tourism Authority last November was amazing and the chance to explore another destination in Egypt is really exciting. The Egyptian hospitality was great last years and look forward to my time in Stella Di Mare, Ein Soukhna”

Stella Di Mare Director of Golf Josh North stated - 'We are delighted to be able to welcome a player of Steven's caliber back to Egypt to compete in our event.

We have a strong entry with other to Professional competing with Steven for the significant prize fund'.

The Pro-Am features Professionals from across Europe and also locally based Professionals all competing for a 1st place prize of $6,000. A team of 3 Amateurs will accompany the Professionals in the 54 hole, 3 day event, with team prizes available.
