Bent wins EPGA event 6 at Katameya, final raking for Challenge Match decided 26th May 2010
Gerard Bent won event 6 of the 2010 EPGA season with a 1 under par, 71, over the Championship course at Katameya Heights. Runner up spot was shared between Josh North and Chris Geraghty, both representing Stella Di Mare Resort, with 2 over pars, 74. Fourth place went to home Professional Walid Sobhy, who shot a personal best, 75. Both North and Sobhy earned places in the 2010 Professional Challenge Match team with these performances. The top 12 players and ties have now confirmed their place in the 2010 Professional team to take on the Amateurs on June 18th and 19th at Stella Di Mare Golf Resort.
