Issa Abou El Ela Clinches Junior Player of the Year, Net Division Player of the Year to be decided at Egyptian Junior Open

Following his victory at the Mirage Junior Open, Alexandria’s Issa Abou El Ela now has an unassailable lead of 53 points in this season’s EGF Gross Order of Merit and is therefore the EGF Junior Golfer of the Year for 2010. Congratulations Issa!

In the Net Division Order of Merit, Shams Bahaa of Golf City is currently 9 points behind Hassan Fayed of Alexandria. Both players are due to compete in this weekend’s Egyptian Junior Open at Dreamland and the results will determine who claims the title of Net Division Junior Golfer of the Year.

Both awards will be made during the prize giving ceremony on Saturday.
