Egyptian Closed Championship and Red Sea Amateur Open to count for National Team rankings and World Team Championship qualification. 17th May 2010
The Egyptian Closed Championship to take place in Alexandria on June 11th and 12th 2010, and the Red Sea Amateur Open, to take place at Soma Bay from June 30th to July 2nd, will be added to the ranking system for the National Team players. Whilst the Orange Lakes Men’s Open will be the final qualifying event to decide the players of the season titles and the Challenge Match team, both the above mentioned events will be counting for National players to earn a place in the National Team for the 2010 World Amateur Team Championship to take place in Argentina from October 24th to October 31st 2010. Ghassan Kabbani, National Team manager: “it is important that these events are added to the National Team ranking, the team will be chosen following the Red Sea Open and I 65% of the team selection will be decided by the final Order Of merit rankings. The remaining 35% will be by Coach and Manager decision”
