Maha Mandour wins Gezira Ladies Open and takes 30 EGF OOM points

Maha Mandour won the 3rd event on the EGF
Ladies Order of Merit by claiming the 36 hole Gezira Ladies Open by
1 stroke from Katameya’s Sophie Issa. On home soil Mandour scored a
first round 83 to be 2 shots behind first round leaders, Maha El
Sennousi and Iman Afra who both shot 81.. A second round 80 gave
Mandour a 1 shot winning margin. The win gives her 30 Order of Merit
points. Second place went to Sophie Issa with a 36 hole total of 164
and third place went to Maha El Senoussi with 167
Dina Fahmy won the net with 143, runner
up net went to Maha El Senoussi
A impressive total of 31 ladies competed
for the Gezira Ladies Open, played for the first time over 36 holes.
