First Ever National Squads to be decided through September qualifying.

The Egyptian Golf Federations would like to give the opportunity for all of our leading National players and juniors the opportunity to earn a place on the National Squad. National Squad coaching will commence for both junior and senior National Squads in October in preparation for all individual players development and regional events but specifically for preparation for the World Amateur Team Championships to take place in October 2010.

In the first instance we wanted to provide a transparent way for our National players to earn a place on the National Squad and have access to appropriate coaching ensuring on going development as individuals and therefore improving our National Team performances both regionally and at the highest level in events like the WATC”

Exact number of players that will first form the National Junior, senior and ladies Squads will be published shortly. However all players should be advised that the following qualifying dates will be used in tandem with the Qualifying for the African Team Championship. This is the first means by which the initial National Squads will be decided.

National Senior Squad – 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th – 72 Holes at Dreamland Golf and Tennis Resort.

National Junior Squad – 11th and 12th September – 36 Holes – Dreamland Golf and Tennis Resort.

Ladies Squad – 11th and 12th September – 36 Holes – Dreamland Golf and Tennis Resort.
