Katameya takes sizeable lead in EGF ladies golf league after winning Event 4 in Alexandria. 27th April 2010
Katameya ladies, guided by Captain Nadia Ziwar, won round 4 of the EGF Ladies Golf League that took place at Alexandria Sporting Club yesterday, Monday 26th April. With 142 stableford points total from their best 5 scores, they secured a 9 point victory over second placed Dreamland Ladies. 3rd went to Mirage with 108 points. With only the final round remaining, to be played at Katameya Heights on June 1st 2010, Katameya look send to win the first EGF Ladies League of its kind as they carry a 6 point advantage over nearest competitor Dreamland.
A third place finish by Katameya will see them crowned league Champions. The final event will award the league winners following the golf with prize giving buffet.
