Under the Captaincy of Steven Wilson, the Professional team take a 4 point lead into the second and final day at the 2010 Challenge Match at Stella Di Mare Golf Resort. The first day witnessed exiting match play golf with the Professional team winning 5 of the 8 four ball matches with the Amateur Team taking 1 match and 2 matches halved. Two matches went to the 18th hole with Abdul Salam of Dreamland making a fantastic birdie 3 to force a half in his match against Costa Marmaras and Abdel Monem El Shafei. Chris Geraghty also made an impressive birdie on the last to force a half in his match against Mike Adly and Ibrahim Wakid.

The event got off to new look opening with a live draw for matches with Captains having the opportunity to choose which players played against each other. The Singles draw will take place at 8pm tonight following the same fashion.
