Draw published for 2010 Closed Championship, record entry line up to win spot in Egyptian Open…. 9th June 2010
54 golfers of 9 handicap or less will tee up on Friday in the 2010 Closed Championship to take place at Alexandria Sporting Club on June 11th and 12th. 24 professionals, 30 Amateurs line up in the 36 Hole stroke play event that is one of the most important on the National Calendar. Furthermore this event is penultimate event on the Order of Merit for National Squad players who earn crucial OOM points to finish high on the rankings. The National Team manager will select the team to compete in the World Amateur Team Championship in October. The team of 3 will be selected immediately following the Red Sea Amateur Open.
Lunch/brunch station open from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM; Scorecards collected from registration – please ensure your correct handicap is recorded on the scorecard. Distance measuring devices are permitted for this championship.
