Egyptian Amateur Champion, Amr Abou El Ela shares first round lead in Egyptian Closed Championship with Ayman Mahmoud 11th June 2010
Egyptian Closed defending Champion made an excellent start to his defense with a first round 68 at Alexandria Sporting Club. Tied for the lead is Alexandria Professional Ayman Mahmoud. 1 shot further back is Mamdouh El Sheikh on 69, 2 shots back is Raouf Mahrous and Costa Marmaras and Gerard Bent share 5th on 71. The leading Amateur and Professional will be invited to the 2010 Egyptian Open. National players are also looking to impress National Team Manager ahead of national Team selection for the World Amateur Team Championship.
