Please note – entries will not be accepted from any golfer whose handicap is higher than 7. A player of a higher handicap is Not permitted to enter, even if he wishes to play of 7. Handicap certificates MUST be presented at registration for all local and International golfers.

The entrance fee is 500LE for EGF Members, And 550 LE for EGF Non-Members, paid in cash upon registration, credit card payments or checks not accepted.


All Players MUST present an updated handicap certificate to the Registration desk.

Any player finishing in the top 5 at the Egyptian Amateur Open, regardless of their handicap will receive invitations to the Egyptian Open. The original announcement that the handicap must be 3 or better is now no longer the case after reaching an agreement with the European Challenge Tour.
