Amr Abou El Ela wins EGF OOM event, Alexandria Men's Open by 2 strokes....

With strong rounds of 71 and 74 for a 145 total, Amr Abou El Ela won the Alexandria Mens Open by 2 strokes from Abdel Monem El Shafei. Abou El Ela started the day with a 3 stroke lead over Taymour Abou El Khier, who shot an opening 74. El shafei started the second round 7 shots back of Abou El Ela, after an opening 78, but a "best of the tournament" 69 in round 2 took the GEzira player to 147 and just 2 shots shy of Abou El Ela's winning total. Omar Mahfouz was the highest placed junior in 11th place with commendable rounds of 80 and 77 for a 157 total.
 
Amr ABou El Ela. competing in his first OOM event of the season, takes maximum points of 40 and immediatly jumps him to 6th place in the rankings.
 
The next EGF OOM ranking event is the Katameya Dunes Men's Open..
