Home Professionals Walid Sobhy wins first EPGA

With an excellent score of 74 gross in testing conditions over the Championship course at Katameya Heights, Walid Sobhy won his first event in the EPGA. Playing under his new contract with Srixon, Sobhy had a 3 shot victory over colleague Hisham Kamel. Sobhy takes the maximum 40 order of merit points and moves into 8th place in the EPGA Order of Merit.

Second place, Kamel takes 30 Order of merit points and moves him into the top position in the current EPGA rankings. Third place went to Richard Phillips with a score of 79.

The next event on the EPGA calendar takes place for the first time at Katameya Dunes.
